POST 13.07

As I wrote that last post, the whole incident came back just like it was happening again. So you might understand that after I uploaded that last post, that I fixed some more cherry Kool-Aid. You'd be right. (It just came to me: cherry was probably an appropriate color after that experience.)

The shoulder is better now. I was really careful with the wound. I cleaned it twice a day for the first few days, and used lots of antibiotic cream. The deepest cut was about a quarter inch deep, not deep enough for stitches (which was good, I suspect that it would have been real difficult to stitch up my own shoulder), and the longest was about four inches. I used some of my penicillin to help fight any infection, and took it easy for about five days. I got a nice scar there now.

There still were the daily chores to do, of course, but I cut down on the heavy-duty stuff. There was the garden to take care of, and I needed to sort through the stuff I got from the hardware store. And I had to repair the tears in the shoulder of the leather jacket.

And I made a nice necklace out of the claws of the lion. I wear it all the time. As a reminder. And out of a bit of respect.
